North Miami Florida Art

Spring is approaching, and on October 22, a new lecture will be held at the North Florida Art Museum in Miami-Dade County. The class is taught by an experienced Miami artist and educator who provides age-appropriate tutorials and activities inspired by great works of art from antiquity to the present day. It is offered for children from 6 to 12 years and is discussed by the artist and is open to all.

The North Florida Art Museum and other cultural institutions that are part of the emerging Collins Park are the Miami-Dade County Museum of Art and the South Florida Center for the Arts. The art gallery houses more than 100 works of art by artists from around the world, as well as a variety of local and international artists.

The unfolding controversy has been painful for many in the local art scene, who have watched the Miami artists and their international reputation, exhibited by M OCAA, grow in stature. But since we got on the train and boasted the largest contemporary art collection in South Florida and one of the largest collections of modern art in the world, things have changed.

The ICA is now housed in an open-air building in the heart of downtown Miami and has opened its doors for the first time in more than a decade. There are also now large sculptures, installations and cultural activities planned jointly by the organisations that share the space.
